Product Overview
The SML-T6 is a two-piece smart network cable tester for structured-cabling acceptance, network maintenance, and security wiring inspection. Testing begins when the cable is connected to the main and remote units. The 1-8 and G indicators provide a direct view of wire order, continuity, shorts, miswiring, and shield continuity on network and telephone cables.

Use and Safety Limits
PoE burnout protection reduces the risk of damage from accidental connection to a low-voltage network port; it does not mean every energized line can be mapped normally. For an energized check, connect only the main unit. Never connect the remote unit to an energized line. Do not connect the tester to mains power, high-voltage wiring, or a circuit of unknown voltage.
