Product Overview

The SML-DSA-IP is the entry IP edition with concealed-circuit tracing at 220 V or below. It combines IP scan, PING, port blink, and link speed with routine cable tracing, remote wire mapping, PoE checks, and energized-line location.

IP configuration is a shared setup function used by both editions and is not counted as a separate feature tier. Choose the SML-DSA-IP+ when the five professional diagnostics are required.

Use and Safety Limits

This model does not support TDR length testing. Energized-cable tracing requires the specified accessories and is limited to circuits at 220 V or below; never connect the tester to a 380 V circuit. Actual depth varies with wall construction, burial depth, and site interference. The maximum permitted PoE test voltage is 60 V. Use IP scan, PING, and port tests only on networks where you have authorization.
