SML-DSLA-IP+ Professional IP Network Multifunction Cable Tracer
Professional IP tester with all nine network functions, 0.01 m-resolution TDR length testing, PoE checks, and energized-cable tracing.

Product Overview
The SML-DSLA-IP+ combines all nine professional IP/network functions, 0.01 m-resolution TDR length testing, and concealed-circuit tracing at 220 V or below. It also covers network-cable tracing and mapping, PoE checks, and multi-cable tracing for technicians handling cabling, network, and line-location work at the same site.

IP / IP+ Feature Editions
| Network function | IP entry edition | IP+ professional edition |
|---|---|---|
| IP scan | Supported | Supported |
| PING | Supported | Supported |
| Port blink | Supported | Supported |
| Link speed | Supported | Supported |
| IP monitoring | — | Supported |
| HTTP test | — | Supported |
| LLDP | — | Supported |
| Network sniffing | — | Supported |
| Broadcast monitoring | — | Supported |
IP configuration is a shared setup function used by both editions and is not counted as a separate feature tier. Choose the SML-DSLA-IP when only the four entry network functions are required.
Typical Applications
- Locating network cables and checking wire map, continuity, and TDR length
- Checking PoE port voltage and power type
- Inspecting IPv4 reachability, addresses, links, neighboring devices, and broadcast conditions
- Tracing telephone lines, two-core wires, and coaxial cable
- Locating the route of in-wall and underground circuits at 220 V or below
Use and Safety Limits
For length testing, the cable must be de-energized and its far end left open. Energized-cable tracing requires the specified accessories and is limited to circuits at 220 V or below; never connect the tester to a 380 V circuit. Actual depth varies with wall construction, burial depth, and site interference. The maximum permitted PoE test voltage is 60 V. Use IP scan, HTTP, network sniffing, and broadcast monitoring only on networks where you have authorization. LLDP results depend on peer-device support and configuration.
Features
- Integrated cable tracing and 2-to-8-conductor remote wire mapping
- TDR length testing with 0.01 m resolution and a 500 m maximum range
- Traces in-wall and underground cables energized at 220 V or below
- IP scan, PING, port blink, and link speed
- IP monitoring, HTTP test, LLDP, network sniffing, and broadcast monitoring
