Product Overview
The SML-DSLA-IP+ combines all nine professional IP/network functions, 0.01 m-resolution TDR length testing, and concealed-circuit tracing at 220 V or below. It also covers network-cable tracing and mapping, PoE checks, and multi-cable tracing for technicians handling cabling, network, and line-location work at the same site.

IP configuration is a shared setup function used by both editions and is not counted as a separate feature tier. Choose the SML-DSLA-IP when only the four entry network functions are required.

Packing and Accessories
This model includes one transmitter, one receiver, one two-core receiver head, one network-cable receiver head, one two-core alligator clip/RJ11 alligator adapter lead, one USB charging cable, one certificate, one warranty card, one manual, one work bag, and one color box. It also includes one 220 V adapter and one 220 V alligator clip for supported energized in-wall and underground tracing. IP and network tests do not require a dedicated accessory.
Use and Safety Limits
For length testing, the cable must be de-energized and its far end left open; never connect a PoE-powered cable to the length-test port. PoE, IP, and network tests share the same RJ45 port, and that port is for wired Ethernet cable only; the maximum permitted PoE test voltage is 60 V. Energized-cable tracing requires the specified port and accessories and is limited to circuits at 220 V or below; never connect the tester to a 380 V circuit. Actual depth varies with wall construction, burial depth, and site interference. Do not connect telephone lines or lines of unknown voltage. Use IP scan, HTTP, network sniffing, and broadcast monitoring only on networks that you own or are authorized to test. LLDP results depend on peer-device support and configuration.
