Product Overview
The SML-MP26 is a portable optical power meter with Android Bluetooth data transfer. It displays linear, logarithmic, or relative optical power, switches among six standard wavelengths, and stores up to 255 records on the instrument.
After installing the BLE无线控制器 app through the QR code in the manual, the current result can be sent to an Android phone. The app displays live data, supports data sharing, and searches historical records by time. The SML-MP26 does not include a visual fault locator or Ethernet cable testing.
Typical Applications
- Optical power measurement during fiber-link installation and maintenance
- Power comparison across fiber patch cords, panels, and link ports
- Transferring and sharing field measurements on an Android phone
- Time-based history review and test-result verification
Safety and Operating Boundaries
- Available source material specifies Android support only. Install the designated app and grant the required permissions before using Bluetooth.
- Clean fiber end faces and instrument optical ports before measurement, and select the correct wavelength.
- Charge only from a DC 5 V / 0.5 A supply. Do not use high-voltage fast chargers or unverified power sources.
Features
- Linear, logarithmic, and relative optical power measurement
- Sends the current optical power result to an Android phone over Bluetooth
- Mobile app displays live data, supports sharing, and searches history by time
- Stores up to 255 optical power test records
- Universal optical interface directly accepts FC, SC, and ST connectors
