Product Overview
The SML-TS-F combines the SML-TS Series’ standard tracing, anti-interference tracing, remote wire mapping, and low-voltage line-status checks with a 650 nm continuous red-light source. Its network functions cover network, telephone, shielded network, four-core, and metallic two-core cables. The red-light source uses a 2.5 mm universal optical interface to help identify a target fiber and reveal visible breaks. The 5 km and 15 km ranges are selectable configurations of the same model.

Use and Safety Limits
Never look directly into the red-light output or the end face of a connected fiber, and never aim the light at anyone’s eyes. The line voltage must not exceed 60 V during powered tracing; perform ordinary remote cable mapping only on a de-energized line. Remote mapping through a switch port supports ordinary switches and standards-compliant PoE switches, not non-standard PoE switches that directly output 48 V. This model does not support single-ended connector testing or coaxial/video cable functions. Never connect the tester to mains power, high-voltage wiring, or a circuit of unknown voltage.
